Solo Recitals: Spring/2018
singers and pianists of ASU's Studio 303 will present a 100th
Birthday celebration in song to conductor/composer LEONARD
BERNSTEIN on Monday night, February 5 in The Arizona
State University School of Music's Organ Hall. Excerpts from
West Side Story, Candide, On the
Town, Wonderful Town and Mass
will be presented. Admission is free and curtain is at 7:30
Solo Recitals: Fall/2017
in Recital on Monday, November 13, 2017 in the Organ Hall at 7:30
Songs and arias by Poulenc, Beach, Mozart and Dvorak. Pianist
Recital on Monday, November 20, 2017 in the Organ Hall at 7:30 pm.
Repertoire includes songs and arias by Bach, Mozart, Schubert,
Faurť, and Quilter.
On MONDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2016,
the singers and pianists of ASU's Studio 303 will present a
tribute in song to composer Kurt Weill. Weill escaped
Hitler's tyranny and came to America by way of Paris in the early
1930's. His compositional output spans approximately 30
years (from post World War I Weimar Germany to late 1940's
Broadway). Excerpts from The
Three Penny Opera, Lady in the
Dark, Street Scene, One
Touch of Venus and Lost in the
Stars will be presented. This concert will be the
52nd presentation by the studio and admission is free.
Location: School of Music Organ Hall. Time: 7:30 pm.

participate in a concert featuring show-stopping numbers from Opera
and Musical Theater.
